Substituting Exercises

During the course of your fitness evolution, you will adapt to what weights or machines are available to hit certain muscle groups, but for those that are not if you find yourself waiting for equipment to be ready and are losing time keeping your sets to the 45-60 seconds rest, adapt and use something else that will hit the targeted muscle.

If you wanted to use bench press and it was busy, you could adapt and use the machine press, or move to fly's and come back.

Essentially do not wait around and go cold, use what you can, it's ok to substitute exercises at any given time to suit you.
